Stephen Gose General Hey, Jeff, the brakie is riding a single boxcar, not the @ss end of a train movement. The car was kicked into the yard, and the brakie is in control of it's movement with the hand brake...... 2/17/2009 10:19:34 AM
Stephen Gose General In addition, this could be 1,2 or 3 coupled cars that were kicked into the yard. Many brakies, including myself when I worked the rails at the Soo/CP, were at the forward brake wheel (like this guy is) many times to stop a kicked switch/yard move like this at the proper spot.....very old news. 2/17/2009 10:28:08 AM
